EVENTS FOR 2012

Throughout the year the Branch holds fairs in various locations and always welcomes volunteers. We have many stalls - books, bric-a-bac, crafts, tombola, cakes, quality 'good-as-new' clothing, raffle and CP goodies to name but a few. There is always an information board with photographs of cats for adoption.

If you would like to donate articles for our stalls please call the Branch line on 01935 412755 and if you would like to help at one of the Fairs please contact Events Co-ordinator Anna by leaving a message on the Branch Line - 01935 412755 for further details. However if you just want to support your local Branch come along for some retail therapy and bag a bargain. Give a little and help a lot.

RECYCLE AND RAISE FUNDS One black bag of clothes, rags, leather, PVC will earn our Branch £5 or more. We can recycle clothes (any condition - new to falling apart), bed linen, blankets, towels, tea cloths, curtains, leather & PVC goods, coats, waterproofs, sheepskins, boots, shoes, sandals, belts, trainers, plimsolls, flip flops, handbags, purses, wallets BUT NOT duvets, pillows, cushions, dog/cat beds and soft toys. Saturday 24th March - Fayre in the Henhayes Community Centre in Crewkerne - 10am -12.30pm - stalls include bric-a-brac, books, CP goods, cakes, tombola, raffle, crafts and much more. There are always display boards showing cats and kittens looking for loving homes and information on Branch activities. There will also be a street collection.

Saturday 21st April - Fayre in the Parish Rooms at Somerton, 10am - 12.30pm. Also a street collection.

Saturday/Sunday 12th/13th May - catering corps are providing delicious teas at Open Gardens in Hinton St George 2 - 5pm

Saturday 19th May - May Fayre in Methodist Church Hall, Quedam Yeovil plus street collection - 10am - 12.30pm

Saturday 16th June - Fayre in aptist Church Hall, Holyrood Street Chard plus street collection - 10am -12.30pm

Friday 22nd June - Fabulous Fashion Show in West Camel - details to follow.

Saturday 14th July - Branch has 2 stalls at the Yetminster Village Fair - 2 - 5pm

Saturday 28th July - Summer Fayre in Ilminster Market Square plus street collection - 9.30 - 12.30pm

Saturday/Sunday 14/15 July - Catering Corps providing luscious teas at open gardens in Hinton St George - 2 - 5pm

Saturday 8th September - ANNUAL GRAND FAYRE, Methodist Church Hall, Quedam, Yeovil plus street collection - 10am - 2pm

Saturday 24th November - AUTUMN FAYRE in Blake Hall, South Petherton plus street collection - 10am - 12.30pm

Saturday 24th November - CHRISTMAS FAYRE in Henhayes Centre, Crewkerne plus street collection - 10 - 12.30pm

YOU DON'T HAVE TO RUN A MARATHON

You can help by holding a collection box, having a coffee morning, baking a cake for the Catering Corps or just by donating cat and kitten food. We have food donations bins in the Co-op Stores in CREWKERNE, ILMINSTER and CHARD and Crossroads Pet Supplies at Babylon Hill on the Sherborne Road, YEOVIL.

Otherwise to donate cat food, cat toys or litter just phone the branch line on 01935 412755.
